I have learned for myself that we make decisions based on how much we love or don't love ourselves. If we are in that victim place we find it really easy to make bad choices and blame it on others or outside circumstances. Kind of like saying...my happiness is your responsibility and giving that responsibility to someone or something that doesn't deserve it...rather than owning it and saying I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS FEELING AND BELIEFS. I AM THE SOURCE OF MY OWN HAPPINESS. I AM THE SOURCE OF MY OWN SUCCESS. Then I take my power back and own it, and the more I do that, the more I realize JUST how powerful I really am if I use it. I love wholeheartedly knowing that there are no guarantees and that I might get my heart smashed in a million pieces. But at least I was LIVING, not hiding behind a castle wall and moat because I'm too afraid to be vulnerable. Friendship...I treasure my friends and do my best to love them unconditionally and allow them to live their lives however they choose because it isn't my business to tell them otherwise. I stand up for myself and fight back if I have to because I love myself enough to know that I deserve to be treated with love and respect and not be a doormat. I think it all comes down to LOVE....or FEAR....do you walk through the mountain in front of you...or do you cower before it. Do you look at the truth of yourself that you are A BEING OF LIGHT AND LOVE...or do you look at yourself as IMPERFECT AND UNWORTHY and live your life in fear and with fear. I really think that is what in the end makes us choose to go backwards and repeat mistakes again and again...or to love ourselves enough that we know we deserve better and choose to make empowering choices.
